The Prom Boutique will be open Saturday from 10:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

 

The Cooperative Drama Program will be producing “Disney’s Little Mermaid” this April.  They are searching for students in grades 4-12 to be actors, actresses, and other backstage hands that will help perform important duties such as: set building and painting, costume organization, prop building, set moving and placement, and other minor roles.  Look for information in the near future regarding auditions.

The JV girl’s basketball team lost to Walkerville 37-48 and defeated Pentwater 40-37.  Shaely Waller had 40 points and Mariah McLouth and Taylor Sexton each had 6 points.

 

The JV and Varsity boy’s basketball teams travel to Suttons Bay.  Game time is 6:00 p.m.; the bus leaves at 3:45 p.m.

 

The middle school girl’s basketball teams host Onekama.  Game time is 5:30 p.m.

 

Ms. Leinaar is looking for students to help with middle school basketball games.

The Varsity boy’s basketball team defeated Pentwater 62-47.  Kaiden Hejl had 20 points, 4 rebounds, 3 steals, and 5 assists, Trey Gilbert had 19 points, 2 rebounds, and 5 steals, Zach Belinsky had 10 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 steals, Gary McBride had 7 points, 10 rebounds, 2 steals, 6 assists, and 3 blocks, and Reagan Merrill had 6 points, 11 rebounds, and 2 assists.

 

The JV boy’s basketball team defeated Pentwater 49-45 in over-time.  Clark May had 25 points, 15 rebounds, and 3 steals, Hunter Bentley had 10 points and 10 rebounds, Tai Babinec had 8 points, 4 rebounds, 4 steals, and 6 assists, Trevor Eisenlohr had 5 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 assists, and Robby McLouth had 1 point, 6 rebounds, and 2 steals.

The 8th grade girl’s basketball team lost to MCC 15-36.  Kalissa Swanson led the team with 9 points, Keera Groenwald had 4 points and Marissa Frisbie had 2 points.  The girls played well for their first game, hustled, and never gave up!

The girls Varsity basketball team lost last night to McBain Northern Michigan Christian by a score of 76-26.  Leading the Lakers were Hayley May with 9 points, Julie Schmidt with 7 points, and Alyssa Eisenlohr with 6 points.

 

The JV girl’s basketball team also lost to McBain Northern Michigan Christian 49-11.  Leading scorer was Mariah McLouth with 5 points.

 

The 8th grade girl’s basketball team travels to MCC.  Game time is 5:30 p.m.; the bus leaves at 4:15 p.m.

The Varsity boy’s basketball team defeated Brethren 67-40.  Kaiden Hejl had 21 points, 3 rebounds, 7 steals, and 8 assists, Trey Gilbert had 15 points, 5 rebounds, 6 steals, and 5 assists, Reagan Merrill had 10 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 steals, Gary McBride had 9 points, 6 rebounds, 3 steals, and 2 blocks, Travis Johnson had 8 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 steals, and Zach Belinsky had 4 points, 9 rebounds, and 3 assists.

 

The JV boy’s basketball team lost to Brethren 35-56.  Clark May had 12 points, 10 rebounds, and 3 steals, Nate King had 8 points, 3 rebounds, 4 steals, Trevor Eisenlohr had 7 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 steals, Hunter Bentley had 4 points and 8 rebounds, Michael King had 2 points, 11 rebounds, and 3 steals, and Tai Babinec had 2 points, 2 rebounds, 2 steals, and 3 assists.
