The Scholastic Book Fair is open today through Thursday, during school hours until 3:30 p.m.

 

The first grade class is traveling to Johnson Hunting Museum tomorrow.  They will be gone from 9:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

 

The Veterans Day Assembly is Friday at 9:30 a.m.

 

Laker Sports  

 

The boy’s high school cross country team placed 11th at State.  Gary McBride finished in 8th place and Kaiden Hejl placed 13th – both made All-State honors.  Trey Gilbert placed 67th, Hunter Bentley placed 168th, and Luca Leffew placed 189th place.

 

The girl’s high school cross country team placed 17th at State.  Elizabeth Belinsky placed 97th, Yuki Babinec placed 147th, Hayley May placed 178th, Solveig Saeternes placed 188th, and Vanessa Wahl placed 211th.

 

The 8th grade boy’s basketball team defeated Baldwin 16-13 and lost to Crossroads 17-23.  Kenny King had 17 points, Jake Griffis had 12 points, and Nate Sanderson had 2 points.

 

The 7th grade boy’s basketball team defeated Crossroads 29-5 and lost to Baldwin 10-21 and Walkerville 13-17.  Treyjin Waller and Zach Griffis each had 17 points, and Kaden Forward had 8 points.

 

The 5th grade girl’s basketball team defeated Walkerville 16-2 and lost to MCE 6-10 and Baldwin 4-16.

 

The 4th grade girl’s basketball team defeated Baldwin 12-0 and Pentwater 14-4 and lost to MCE 8-16.

 

The middle school boy’s basketball teams host Baldwin.  Game time is 5:30 p.m.

 

Attention 8th – 12th grade boys:  Sign up for baseball in the high school office.

 

The following volleyball players need to turn in their warm-up money to Mrs. Mallison: Cheyenne Ware and Kelly Timmons.

 

The high school volleyball, football, and cheerleading banquet is Thursday at 7:00 p.m.

 

Today’s Practices:                 Elem. GBB:      3:00 – 4:30 p.m.
