The 1st grade class will visit the Bear Lake fire station on Wednesday.  They will be gone from 1:20 – 2:30 p.m.

 

The Bear Lake Watershed Alliance is sponsoring a photo contest that will feature the views of the Bear Lake Watershed through the eyes of the photographer!  Please pick up a flyer in the high school office if interested.

 

The Elementary Character Assembly is tomorrow at 8:30 a.m.

 

Laker Sports

 

The Varsity football team defeated Brethren 66-0.

 

The boy’s high school cross country team placed 2nd at Portage and the girl’s team placed 8th.  Medaling for the teams were Gary McBride, Jordan Anderson, Kaiden Hejl, Cole Verrett, Elizabeth Belinsky and Yuki Babinec.

 

The middle school girl’s volleyball team lost to Walkerville 19-21 and 18-21 and Pentwater 14-21 and 14-21.  Zoey Sutton had 5 points, Courtney Haag had 4 points, and Liliana Brown and Kilie Fowler each had 3 points.

 

Attention 5th – 12th grade students:  Sign up for winter sports in the high school office.

 

Boys in grades 8th – 11th – are you interested in playing soccer in the fall?  If so, sign up in the high school office.

 

The JV/V volleyball Pink Out game is coming!  Mark your calendars for Tuesday, October 20th to support a great cause and get your pink on!
