There is no school tomorrow.  Enjoy your Easter weekend.


For those who ordered a 2014 Yearbook with a name stamp, please have your payment of $33.00 to Mrs. Krus by the end of the day.


Are you good at ping-pong?  If you are or even if you aren’t it’s time to show your skills.  The PATS group is sponsoring a ping-pong tournament with two divisions.  The first division will be 6-8 grades.  Second division will be the 9-12 grades.  Prizes will be awarded in each division.  Sign up sheets are in the high school office.  The deadline for sign up is today.  Tournament brackets will be made and posted so you know whom to play.  If you have any questions please see Mr. Harthun.


Crystal Mountain is conducting a Spring Job Fair today.


Kindergarten Roundup is Monday at 7:00 p.m.


Enroll in a Hunting Education Course.  Courses are offered on Friday, April 25th, Saturday, May 3rd, and Sunday, May 4th.  For more information, please pick up a flyer in the high school office.


Monday, May 5th is the last day for M.A.S.H.


Laker Sports


The soccer team lost to Leelanau St. Mary’s.  As a team, they had 7 steals and 6 interceptions.  Emileigh Ferguson had 8 saves out of 18 shots.  Cheyenne Buckner had two shot attempts.  As the game went on, the team continued to improve.


There is no golf practice today.


The baseball team travels to McBain.  Game time is 4:00 p.m.; the bus leaves at 1:30 p.m.  Athletes will be excused from class at 1:20 p.m.


The middle school track team travels to MCE.  Events begin at 4:00 p.m.; the bus also leaves at 1:30.  They too will be excused from class at 1:20 p.m.


The baseball team travels to TC Christian on Saturday.  Game time is 11:45 a.m.; the bus leaves Onekama at 8:45 a.m.


The boy’s basketball awards banquet is Tuesday, April 22nd at 7:30 p.m.


Northern Broadcast is pleased to announce a Major League Baseball’s Pitch, Hit & Run on Sunday, May 4th, at 1:00 p.m. at the Grand Traverse Civic Center in Traverse City.  The competition is for children between the ages of 7 to 14.  He or she can participate for free.  Registration starts at noon.
