Great job to all the elementary Science Olympiad participants!  We received 9 medals last night.


Attention Middle and High School Students:  Beginning Monday, April 27th, food service will have available a “flavor station” for you to season your school meal.  There will be pepper packets, Mrs. Dash, and red pepper flakes.  More seasonings will be added next year.  Enjoy!


Big Bear Sportsman’s Club is offering a Hunting Education Course tomorrow.  Forms are available in the high school office.


The first grade class is traveling to the Pleasanton Greenhouse today.  They will be gone from 1:30 – 2:45 p.m.


The Indentured Servant Auction is today at 1:00 p.m.  Servants will serve on Monday from 7:55 – lunch and for the CTC students 12:40 – 3:05 p.m.

Moss’ Road Rules Driver’s Training Segment I will begin on Monday, May 18th at 6:00 a.m. Sign up in the high school office.


The Manistee Civic Players will be holding auditions for their summer production of Dr. Doolittle at the Ramsdell Theater April 27th and 28th at 7:00 p.m.  Auditions are open to ages 8 and up.  Students will be asked to read from a script, learn a group song, and act or talk like an animal.  For more information call 723-7188.


Laker Sports


The golf match scheduled for today has been canceled and there is no practice.


The baseball team travels to Brethren.  Game time is 4:00 p.m.


The softball team hosts Onekama.  Game time is 4:00 p.m.


The JV baseball game has been canceled.


Volleyball camp forms for grades 6-8 and 9-12 are available in the high school office.


Students in grades Kindergarten through 5th grade can sign up for MRA baseball, forms are available in the elementary office.  The deadline is May 8th.


The American Legion Junior Baseball and Northern Broadcast is pleased to announce a competition for children between the ages of 7 to 14.  He or she can participate in the MLB Pitch, Hit & Run for free.  Registration starts at noon on Sunday, May 3rd at the Grand Traverse Civic Center in Traverse City.
