Second and fifth hour exams are tomorrow.  School will be dismissed at 2:50 p.m. tomorrow.  Monday will be a half-day and students will be excused at noon.


The Prom Boutique will be open Saturday from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the Briny Building.


Senior composites are Tuesday, January 21st at 9:00 a.m. in the media center.


The Manistee County Sheriff’s Office will be conducting a Snowmobile Safety Course Saturday, January 25th from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. for the ages of 12 – 16.  For more information, please pick up a flyer in the high school office.

The Varsity boy’s basketball team defeated Brethren 70-55.  Reilly Merrill had 34 points and 9 rebounds, Shane Peterson had 22 points, 6 steals, and 7 assists, and Tyler Johnson had 4 points, 6 steals, and 2 assists.


The JV boy’s basketball team also defeated Brethren 61-31.  Joeb Reed had 22 points and 9 rebounds, Paul Hayes had 18 points, 2 rebounds, 8 steals, and 6 assists, Trent Johnson had 8 points, 6 rebounds, 3 steals, and 2 assists, and Cole Verrett had 8 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 blocks.


The Varsity girl’s basketball team defeated Baldwin 66-9.  Hannah Harrington had 14 points and 10 rebounds, Emileigh Ferguson had 10 points and 8 rebounds, Alycia Peterson had 10 points, 2 assists, and 5 steals, Kelly Babcock had 8 points, 4 asissts, and 7 steals, McKaya Groenwald had 7 points, 5 rebounds, 14 assists, and 7 steals, Katie Millard had 5 points and 5 rebounds, Alyson Fink had 5 points, Erika Hejl had 4 points and 5 rebounds, and Marie Deitmaring 3 points.


The JV girl’s basketball team also defeated Baldwin 59-3.  Cheyenne Buckner had 20 points, 4 assists, and 4 steals, Jenna Cross had 14 points and 9 rebounds, Katelyn Pruyne had 11 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 steals, Wren Gilbert had 10 points, 16 rebounds, and 14 steals, and Halie Clarke and Rachael Makowski each had 2 points and 5 rebounds.


The middle school girl’s basketball teams host Brethren.  Game time is 5:00 p.m.


The JV and Varsity boy’s basketball teams host Baldwin.  Game time is 6:00 p.m.


Anyone interested in playing soccer this spring needs to see Ms. Leinaar today to try on uniforms for the upcoming season.  You will be asked to make a determination of participation for this sport.  Currently we have 13 games scheduled for the spring.


The 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament is April 12th.  The early entry deadline is March 1st.  Flyers are available in the high school office.
