The Spirit Week Canned Drive has started. Donations will be accepted through Tuesday morning. The Money Jars are in the high school office. Money will be accepted through the end of the day Wednesday. Counters from each class will be needed.
Dance passes for the Homecoming Dance are available in the high school office. The form needs to be completed and turned in to the high school office by Thursday, January 29th.
The Prom Boutique, located in the Briny Building, will be open today from 3:30 – 6:00 p.m. and Saturday, January 31st from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
The 8th grade girl’s basketball team defeated Brethren 35-26. Kaitlynn Omar had 15 points, 9 rebounds, and 2 steals, Faith Kidd had 14 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 steals, and Olivia Hejl had 6 points.
The 7th grade girl’s basketball team lost to Brethren 10-16. Zoey Sutton had 3 points, 4 rebounds, and 6 steals, Lily Brown had 3 points and 2 rebounds, Kelly Timmons had 2 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 blocks, and Mariah McLouth had 2 points.
The JV and Varsity girl’s basketball teams travel to Onekama. Game time is 6:00 p.m.; the bus leaves at 4:30 p.m.
The ski team is racing at Caberfea today.
The Knights of Columbus is holding their Free Throw Competition on Sunday for ages 10 – 14 at MCC. Registration is at 1:00 p.m.
The middle school boy’s basketball team will have their pizza party Wednesday, January 28th at 5:00 p.m. in Mr. Harthun’s room. All players who have not returned their uniforms must hand them in at the party.
