With an earsplitting bang of metal on wood, they hit the thick tree trunk and dropped to the ground with a heavy jolt. Steam was billowing out from under the crumpled hood; Hedwig was shrieking in terror; a golf-ball sized lump was throbbing on Harry’s head where he had hit the windshield; and to his right, Ron let out a low, despairing groan. McKaya Groenwald had 18 points, 7 assists, and 8 steals, Erika Hejl had 13 points, 2 rebounds, and 2 steals, McKenna Fink had 10 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, and 6 steals, Katie Millard had 8 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 steals, Alycia Peterson had 8 points, 2 assists, and 8 steals, and Cheyenne Buckner had 2 points and 2 rebounds.

The JV and Varsity boy’s basketball teams travel to Big Rapids Crossroads. Game time is 6:00 p.m.; the bus leaves at 4:15 p.m.
High School track practice will be held Monday, Wednesday, and Friday in the Onekama high school gym from 3:15 – 5:30 p.m. Baseball practice starts on Monday in the Onekama middle school gym from 3:10 – 4:30 p.m. and then a team meeting until 5:15 p.m.
There will be a softball meeting today in the gym at 2:45 p.m.
