There is a blood drive in the multi-purpose room.

 

The Benzie/Manistee County Honors Band Concert is today at Benzie Central High School.

 

The Quiz Bowl team will be competing at Brethren on Thursday.

 

The Robotics Team competes Friday at St. Joseph.

 

The Jostens rep will be here Friday at 12:40 p.m. to deliver graduation materials in the Media Center.

 

Laker Sports

 

The Varsity boy’s basketball team defeated Mesick 69-47 and advance to the semi-finals on Wednesday.  Jordan Anderson had 23 points, 7 rebounds, 3 steals, and 6 assists, Trent Johnson had 14 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 steals, Joeb Reed had 9 points and 8 rebounds, Paul Hayes had 8 points, Cole Verrett had 5 points, 20 rebounds, 4 steals, 2 assists, and 3 blocks, Kaiden Hejl had 4 points, 2 rebounds, and 2 assists, and Gary McBride had 4 points and 3 rebounds.

 

The high school track and baseball bus will be here at 2:50 p.m. to pick up athletes beginning on Monday, March 14th.  The bus WILL leave the school at 2:55 p.m.

 

There will be a volleyball meeting for girls in grades 8-11 tomorrow at 12:00 p.m. in the high school office for those helping with the clinic.
