The Halloween Parade is Monday at 1:45 p.m. in the elementary gym.

 

There will be no CTC classes on Tuesday, November 1st.

 

Picture retakes are Wednesday, November 2nd.

 

Laker Sports

 

The Varsity volleyball team lost to Grand Traverse Academy 13-25, 12-25, and 222-25.  Julie Schmidt had 6 points, 2 aces, 4 attacks, and 2 kills, Jenna Cross had 3 points and 6 attacks, Alexis Juarez had 3 points and 3 aces, Olivia Hejl had 3 points, Wren Gilbert had 2 points, 2 aces, and 4 attacks, Kaitlynn Omar had 9 attacks, 2 kills, and 2 blocks, and Cheyenne Ware had 4 attacks.

 

The JV volleyball team also lost to Grand Traverse Academy 9-25 and 11-25.  Mariah McLouth had 3 points, 2 attacks, and 1 kill, Hayley May had 1 point, 5 attacks, and 1 kill, Alyssa Eisenlohr had 1 point, 3 attacks, and 1 kill, and Zoey Sutton had 1 point, 1 attack, and 3 assists.

 

The middle school volleyball pizza party is today after team pictures.

 

Sports pictures for elementary girl’s basketball, middle school volleyball, middle school cross country, and high school cross country is today beginning at 2:00 p.m.

 

The weight room will be closed until further noticed due to some minor repairs.

 

Friday is the last day to sign up for winter sports. The JV/V girl’s basketball practice begins on November 7th while the JV/V boy’s basketball practice begins November 14th.  Please make sure you have a current sports physical on file with Ms. Leinaar.

 

            Today’s Practices:                   Elem. GBB:      3:00 – 4:30 p.m.

                                                            JV/V VB:          3:00 – 5:00 p.m.

VFB:                3:20 – 5:30 p.m.

MS BBB:          4:30 – 6:00 p.m.

HS CC:             5:00 – 7:00 p.m.
