The first grade class will be traveling to Smeltzer’s Orchard tomorrow.  They will be gone from 12:45 – 2:30 p.m.

 Attention student drivers:  Please turn in your parking permission slips to Mrs. Mallison by Friday.  All unauthorized vehicles will be towed.

 October lunch menus are available in the high school office.

 Driver’s Training Segment I and II classes start at Onekama on Monday, October 12th at 6:00 p.m.  Sign up in the high school office.

 Do you like to take pictures?  The Bear Lake Watershed Alliance is sponsoring a photo contest that will feature the views of the Bear lake Watershed through the eyes of the photographer!  Please pick up a flyer in the high school office if interested.


Laker Sports

 The Varsity volleyball team lost to Baldwin 25-20, 21-25, 18-25, and 20-25.  Gabrielle Pargeon had 11 points, 3 aces, 9 attacks, and 2 kills, Wren Gilbert had 10 points, 4 aces, 13 attacks, 4 kills, and 8 assists, Rachael Makowski had 9 points, 16 attacks, and 2 kills, and Jenna Cross had 6 points, 4 aces, 5 attacks, and 2 kills.

 The JV volleyball team defeated Baldwin 25-17 and 25-10.  Emily Belinsky had 6 points and 3 aces, Olivia Hejl had 6 points, 2 aces, 2 attacks, and 3 digs. Alyssa Eisenlohr had 5 points and 4 aces, Abby Cross had 5 points, 3 aces, and 2 attacks, and Kaitlynn Omar had 5 points.

 The middle school volleyball team travels to Brethren.  Game time is 5:30 p.m.; the bus leaves at 4:30 p.m.

 The middle school football team hosts Pine River.  Game time is 5:30 p.m.
