Homecoming dance passes are available in the high school office. Completed passes are due to the high school office by Thursday, January 31st. The elementary students are going skiing at Crystal Mountain on Thursday. They will be gone from 8:30 – 2:30 p.m. The Prom Boutique will be open Saturday from 10:00 – 12:30. This will be the last time the boutique is open until springtime. Hallway decorating is until 5:00 p.m. *Laker Sports* The Varsity girl’s basketball team suffered their first lost last night at the hands of the McBain Northern Michigan Christian 49-27. Leading the Lady Lakers were Hayley May with 12 points and Cosima Holler with 7 points. The JV girl’s basketball team lost to McBain Northern Michigan. Bella Leffew and Leah Nelson each had 3 points, and Kaitlyn Leiffers and Marissa Frisbie each had 2 points. The hockey team defeated Cadillac 6-2. Jonathan Adams scored a goal and had an assist. The JV/Varsity boy’s basketball teams travel to Marion.
