Australia originally had camels imported for transporting heavy loads or for riding. They were let loose when their work was done, causing an unwanted spike in their population. Marissa Frisbie was 1 for 2 with a single, Taylor Merrill was 1 for 1 with a triple and Amara Lopez was 1 for 1 with a single. The baseball team played Mesick yesterday, tying the first game 1-1 and winning the second game 6-1. Jake Griffis pitched the first game giving up only 3 hits on 8 strikeouts with no walks. Nate Sanderson pitched the second game with Jackson Cook closing. Nate struck out 3 and gave up no runs. Jackson pitched the last inning striking out 2 batters. Jake Griffis and Nate Sanderson each had two hits and an RBI. Zach Griffis, Tate Aultman, and Jared Cook each had one hit. Jackson Cook and Bryce Harless each scored twice.
