Taylor Merrill was 5-6, Lilli Riesenberg and Maria Ripesi each went 2-4, Amara Lopez was 2-3, and Alexia Rineer and Kalissa Swanson each went 1-2. Taylor Merrill pitched 4 innings striking out 4 while Kalissa Swanson pitched 6 innings striking out 7. Alexia Rineer had 5 stolen bases and Maria Ripesi had 2 stolen bases. The baseball team swept MCC yesterday 7-2 and 18-3. Jackson Cook and Jake Griffis had 5 hits each, Zach Griffis and Jared Cook had 3 hits, Tate Aultman had 2, and Sebastian Perez, Kevin Perez, Jayden Raspotnik, Elijah Ruiz, and Bryce Harless each had 1 hit. Bryce, Zach, Tate, Jared, and Jake had multiple RBIs and combined for 14 runs, including 5 by Jake. Jake Griffis pitched 5 innings in the first game striking out 12 and Nate Sanderson finished the game on 5 pitches. Jackson Cook pitched the second game striking out 4 and Jared Cook finished the game by getting the last two outs. The soccer team travels to Buckley.
