Kalissa Swanson was 4-4, pitched 3 innings and had 5 strikeouts and Taylor Merrill pitched 2 innings with 1 strikeout. The baseball team swept MCE in a double-header yesterday 8-7 and 15-4. Bryce Harless delivered a walk-off double to empty the bases in the first game to complete a Laker 4 run rally and comeback. Jake Griffis led all hitters with 6 hits followed by Zach Griffis and Bryce Harless with 3 each. Jared Cook had 2 and Jackson Cook and Tate Aultman had 1 each. Jake and Bryce led RBIs with 7 each. Tate and Zach had 2 each. Jake pitched two innings in game one and had 7 strikeouts. Nate Sanderson finished the game giving up no earned runs and striking out 3. Jackson pitched game two striking out 5. Nate finished the game get the last out. Fifth – 11th grade students – time to sign up for the 2021 Fall Sport Season!
