DID YOU KNOW… The first U.S. Labor Day was celebrated on Tuesday, September 5, 1882 in New York City, planned by the Central Labor Union. The Labor Day parade of about 10,000 workers took unpaid leave. Oregon was the first state to declare Labor Day an official holiday in 1887. Gabriel Aguilar ran 8 yards for touchdown, Bryce Harless ran for a 63 yard touchdown, Bryce also completed a pass to Gabriel for 49 yards resulting in a touchdown. Jake Griffis scored a two-point conversion.
