The high school cross country team ran well on Saturday. Medalists were Cecilia Girlanda (20th), and Kaden Forward (6th). The middle school cross country team competed at the Buckley Invitational on Saturday with the girls finishing in 2nd place, three points out of first. Melody Hullnek finished in 5th place and Natalie Brown was 7th. The boys still do not have enough competitors to comprise a team (hint, hint) but ran well with Nolan Koscinski taking 11th place. The WMD League Fishing Club will have their first day of competition on Sunday at the boat launch in Onekama. Please arrive at 9:30 a.m.; fishing will be from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Please bring your fishing gear with you.
