The seniors leave for Tennessee after school today and will return to Bear Lake on Saturday. The 5th grade is traveling to Sleeping Bear Dunes tomorrow. They will be gone from 8:15 a.m. – 2:45 p.m. *Did you know it’s Teacher Appreciation Week…* At -40, the temperature is the same in both Fahrenheit and Celsius. A pound of quarters and a pound of dimes are essentially worth the same amount – about $20. *Laker Sports* The high school track team travels to Frankfort. Events begin at 4:15 p.m.; the bus leaves at 2:45 p.m. Athletes will be excused from class at 2:35 p.m. The JJKN3/3 Lake Michigan Showdown will be held on Saturday, July 30th at the Pleasant Valley Community Center in Arcadia. Entry fee for each team is $135.
