Lakers – looking for a job this summer? Be sure to check out the Summer Employment Opportunities bulletin board across from the high school girl’s bathroom. Work permits are available in the high school office. The 8th grade class will return from Suttons Bay at 2:45 p.m. The juniors will be meeting with the Jostens rep today at 12:00 p.m. in the library. The freshmen class travels to the Career Quest in Traverse City tomorrow. They will be gone from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. The seniors return from Tennessee on Saturday. *Did you know …* At birth, a panda cub is smaller than a mouse and weighs only four ounces. Horses and cows can sleep standing up, but they can only dream when lying down. *Laker Sports* The JV baseball team split with Marion winning the first game 21-4 and losing the second game 6-12. The JV softball team lost both games to Hesperia. The high school track team travels to Benzie Central.
