The 6th grade class will return from Mackinac Island at 9:00 p.m. Ladies – a reminder if you borrowed a dress, or shoes, or jewelry from the Prom Boutique, please drop it off at the high school office by Friday, May 27th. Looking for a job this summer? Be sure to check out the Summer Employment Opportunities bulletin board across from the high school girl’s bathroom. Work permits are available in the high school office. 8th – 11th grade students – Want to get more involved in school? Want to help plan Homecoming? Student Council 2022-2023 applications are available in the high school office; the return deadline is next Friday. Today is the last day for seniors to attend their CTC classes. Students are to sign in on Monday and Tuesday at 12:00 p.m. *Did you know …* The average person will spend six months of their life waiting for red lights to turn green. President Lyndon B. Johnson owned a water-surfing car. *Laker Sports* The softball and baseball teams both lost to Mason County Central. The soccer team travels to McBain Northern Christian. Game time is 5:00 p.m.; the bus leaves Brethren at 3:30 p.m. The softball and baseball players travel to Lake Leelanau St. Mary’s tomorrow. Game time is 10:00 a.m.; the bus leaves at 8:00 a.m. The high school track team travels to Brethren tomorrow for the Regional Track Meet. Events begin at 9:00 a.m.; the bus leaves Onekama at 7:45 a.m. The Fishing League Tournament is Sunday at the backwaters of Tippy Dam. Students will need to provide their own boat and an adult to fish with them.
