Trivia Fridays are making a comeback Lakers! Make sure you listen closely to the “Did You Know” facts. One or two or even three might be mentioned during the reading of tomorrow’s announcements – prizes will be given away to the lucky student(s) who can answer the question(s) correctly! *Did you know …* Bumblebees can fly higher than Mount Everest. Grooves in the road on Route 66 play “America the Beautiful.” New Mexico’s Department of Transportation decided to add grooves in a desolate quarter-mile stretch of Route 66 between Albuquerque and Tijeras. The grooves play music when you drive over them going the speed limit of 45 mph. The grooves work just like the rumble strips, which vibrate your car if you drift out of your lane. These particular strips are positioned to create different pitches when you drive over them. You can clearly hear “America the Beautiful” play through the vibrations in your car’s wheels. *Laker Sports* The middle school and Varsity volleyball teams host Marion.
