The Elementary Christmas Concert is Monday at 7:00 p.m. The freshmen class will be selling cookies at the Mrs. Claus’s Cookie Express before and after the concert. Soap fundraiser products will be available for pick up after school on Monday and Tuesday in Mr. Harthun’s room. Schedule for next week: Monday – Wednesday – full days, student release time is 2:50 p.m. Christmas Break is from Thursday, December 22nd through January 3rd. School resumes on Wednesday, January 4th. Elementary Holiday Spirit Week begins Monday with Favorite Holiday Hat. Fantail Farms is coming Tuesday to give sleigh rides to students in grades kindergarten through 2nd grade from 12:30 – 2:00 p.m. Students in grades 3rd through 6th will be making Christmas centerpieces on Tuesday with the crew from Pleasanton Greenhouse. Laker Sports The Varsity boys basketball team defeated Walkerville 50-45. Myles Harless had 24 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists, and 2 steals, Grady Harless had 13 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 steals, Thibaut Salvi had 6 points and 3 rebounds, Cole Merrill had 4 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals, and Zach Griffis had 3 points 3 rebounds, and 2 assists. The JV boys basketball team lost to Mason County Central Freshmen. Easton Nowak had 7 points, 2 rebounds, and 3 steals, Nathan Brown had 6 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 steals, Spencer Mallison had 4 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 blocks, and Jayden Raspotnik had 4 points and 3 rebounds. The Varsity girls basketball team travels to MCC.
