The elementary students will be celebrating the 100th Day of school tomorrow. February lunch menus are available in the high school office. Hallway decorating is from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. High school students who are bringing a guest from another school to the dance may pick up a dance pass from the high school office. Passes are due Thursday, February 9th at 3:00 p.m. The freshmen class will be taking carnation orders next Tuesday through Thursday during all lunches. Carnations will be sold for $2.00 each. The Prom Boutique is open the following days: Saturdays: 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. February 4th & 11th Tuesdays/Thursdays: 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. February 2nd, 7th, & 9th Moss’ Road Rules Drivers Training Segment I begins on April 10th. Laker Sports The Varsity boys basketball team lost to MCE 32-45. Grady Harless had 9 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals, Myles Harless had 6 points and 11 rebounds, Zach Griffis had 6 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 steals, Kaden Forward had 5 points and 3 steals, Keegin Johnson had 4 points and 5 rebounds, and Cole Merrill had 2 points and 4 rebounds. The JV boys basketball team defeated MCE 36-27. Hunter Ball had 11 points and 14 rebounds, Elijiah Ruiz had 8 points, 10 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals, Nathan Brown had 8 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 steals, Spencer Mallison had 6 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 steals, and Easton Nowak had 2 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists. The middle school girls basketball team lost to Brethren in both games. Cassidy Brown had 6 points, Peyton Buckner had 3 points, and Melodie Hulinek, Tessa Rutherford and Brynlee Ware each had 2 points. Congratulations to the boys and girls ski teams. The boys took home first place last night at Crystal Mountain and the girls finished in 2nd place. The Varsity girls basketball team hosts Pentwater.
