The 10th grade Commitment Scholars have a pizza party today at 1:00 p.m. Senior’s last day is today; the Junior/Senior Challenge begins at 1:00 p.m. Baccalaureate is also today at 7:30 p.m. at the Bear Lake United Methodist Church. Senior Breakfast is Thursday at 9:00 a.m. followed by graduation practice. Graduation is Friday at 7:00 p.m. The Physics Class is traveling to Michigan Adventure tomorrow. They will be gone from 7:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. The 5th and 6th grade classes will be traveling to the Paine Aquatic Center and Striketown tomorrow. They will be gone from 8:15 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. Order a 2017-18 yearbook for $35 and get the previous 3 books for $10. So 4 books for $45, if you’re a senior you have all four years in pictures. Must be ordered by Friday. *Laker Sports* Congratulations to Yuki and Tai Babinec for being selected 2nd Team All-Conference for the West Michigan D League in golf. The softball team lost to Mason County Central 1-8 and 2-4. Hayley May was 3-6 with 2 triples, Alyssa Eisenlohr was 2-3 with a triple, and Kaitlynn Omar was 1-2 with a double. The soccer team hosts Gladwin. Game time is 5:00 p.m. Seniors will be honored tonight. Players need to be at the school by 3:45 p.m. The high school track team travels to Frankfort for the conference championship meet. Events start at 3:00 p.m.; the bus leaves at 1:45 p.m. Athletes will be excused from class at 1:35 p.m. The middle school softball game against Benzie Central has been canceled.
