The Elementary Spring Concert is tomorrow at 7:00 p.m. The Elementary Good Behavior Day is tomorrow. They will be hiking to Old Baldy in Arcadia and enjoying a treat from Flamingo Freeze. The band concert is Thursday at 7:00 p.m. Middle and High School Reward Day is June 1st. One available activity is a Painting Party sponsored by Lisa Kennedy’s Sip and Stroke Painting and Kennedy Masonry and Concrete. No art experience is necessary. Everyone goes home with a painting and a SMILE! See Mrs. Pargeon for more information and to sign up. If you borrowed a dress, jewelry, or a pair of shoes from the Prom Boutique, please return the items to the high school office. Please check at home for any library books and/or school books. Students will be charged replacement cost for any unreturned boos. The last day to check out books will be Friday. *Laker Sports* The JV baseball team split with Benzie Central on Saturday winning the first game 8-3 and losing the second 2-9. Noah Sutton had 2 hits with 2 singles and 2 runs, Kaiden Hejl had 3 runs and an RBI, Luca Leffew had a double and 2 RBIs, and Jake Griffis had a double and an RBI. The soccer team hosts districts. They take on MCE at 5:00 p.m. Cost to get in is $5. The softball team hosts Frankfort in the pre-district game at 4:30 p.m. There is no middle school softball practice today. Sports Physicals Day is Thursday beginning at 1:30 p.m. Please bring your completed forms and payment of $25. There will be a JV boy’s basketball meeting on Friday at 11:45 a.m. for students in grades 8th and 9th. Track Athletes who will not be competing at state are asked to bring in their uniform to Ms. Leinaar.
