Homecoming dance passes are available in the high school office. The Prom Boutique, located in the Briny Building, will be open on Saturday, January 19th from 10:00 – 12:30. Exams begin on Wednesday; schedules are available in the high school office. *Laker Sports* The Varsity girl’s basketball team started the New Year with a win over MCC by a score of 38-21. Leading the Lady Lakers were Cosima Holler with 16 points, Hayley May with 10 points, Abby Cross with 6 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 steals, Olivia Hejl with 4 points, and Alyssa Eisenlohr with 2 points. The JV girl’s basketball team lost to MCC 25-26. Taylor Sexton and Kalissa Swanson each had 8 points, Bella Leffew had 5 points, and Leah Nelson and Sky Love each had 2 points. The JV and Varsity boy’s basketball teams host Big Rapids Crossroads. Game time is 6:00 p.m. Parents will be honored between games. The hockey team hosts the N/S Showcase. They play 9:15 a.m. today and 4:30 p.m. tomorrow. The middle school girl’s basketball teams host a scrimmage tomorrow.
