Homecoming dance passes are available in the high school office. The Prom Boutique, located in the Briny Building, will be open on Saturday from 10:00 – 12:30. Sixth hour exam is tomorrow; schedules are available in the high school office. *Laker Sports* The Varsity boy’s basketball team lost to Mason County Central 43-47. Trey Gilbert had 19 points, 3 rebounds, 4 steals, and 3 assists, Bradley Novak had 8 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 steals, Zach Belinsky had 8 points, 5 rebounds, 2 steals, and 4 assists, Jake Griffis had 3 points, 2 rebounds, and 2 steals, and Tai Babinec had 3 points. The JV boy’s basketball team also lost to Mason County Central. Nate Sanderson had 14 points, 4 steals, and 3 assists, Hunter Bentley had 13 points, 2 rebounds, and 2 steals, Trevor Eisenlohr had 10 points, 2 rebounds, 2 steals, and 3 assists, and Robby McLouth had 2 points and 2 rebounds. The 8th grade girl’s basketball team pulled off a tough win against MCE 23-21. Makayla Omar lead the team with 12 points, Amara Lopez had 4 points, and Riley Kilbourn, Victoria Hall, and Conzuelo Magana Garcia each had 2 points. The 7th grade girl’s basketball team played a great game last night, defeating MCE 20-3. Kylie Blattner lead the scoring with 8 points, Olivia Buckner had 6 points, and Juliet Austin, Kara Smith, and Desirae Evans each contributed 2 points. The JV and Varsity girl’s basketball teams host Brethren.
