Trey Gilbert had 28 points, 3 rebounds, 5 steals, and 3 assists, Zach Belinsky had 16 points, 15 rebounds, 3 steals, and 2 assists, Regan Merrill had 8 points, 5 rebounds, 3 steals, and 2 assists, Riccardo Girlanda had 4 points and 2 rebounds, and Clark May had 3 points and 2 rebounds. The JV boy’s basketball team lost to MCE 32-53. Hunter Bentley had 10 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 assists, Nate Sanderson had 9 points and 5 rebounds, Robby McLouth had 7 points and 7 rebounds, Trevor Eisenlohr had 4 points, 6 rebounds, 4 steals, and 2 assists, and Morgan Blattner has 2 points and 3 assists. The 8th grade girl’s basketball team defeated Big Rapids Crossroads in overtime 22-18 last Saturday. Dafne Yanez lead the team with 10 points, Victoria Hall had 4 points, and Amara Lopez, Taylor Merrill, Alex Rineer, and Conzuela Magana Garcia each had 2 points. The 7th grade girl’s basketball team lost to Big Rapids Crossroads. Kylie Blattner had 5 points, and Juliet Austin and Lillian Hall each had 2 points. The JV and Varsity girl’s basketball teams host MCE. Game time is 6:00 p.m. Crowning for Homecoming will take place next Friday during the Walkerville game. The hockey team plays at Trenton today and tomorrow.
