If there are any high school students who would like to join the school wellness committee, please join us after school today from 3:15 – 4:00 in the high school conference room. Hallway decorating is until 5:00 p.m. The boosters will be serving spaghetti and garlic bread for dinner. Cost is $5 and does include a dessert. Judging assembly is at 1:30 p.m. Vine Day is tomorrow. Dress like your favorite Vine. The Math Counts Teams competes at West Shore Community College. There is a Cub Scout Meeting today in the Media Center for interested boys and girls in grades K-2 from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. Registration forms will be available; cost is $33. Senior composite pictures have been moved to Friday, February 15th at 12:00 p.m. *Laker Sports* The Varsity boy’s basketball team lost to Walkerville 56-64. Trey Gilbert had 21 points, 8 rebounds, 2 steals, and 3 assists, Zach Belinsky had 12 points, 2 rebounds, and 3 assists, Riccardo Girlanda had 4 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 assists, Reagan Merrill had 4 points and 3 rebounds, Clark May had 3 points and 2 assists, Jake Griffis had 2 points, 2 rebounds, and 2 steals, and Bradley Novak had 2 points. The JV boy’s basketball team lost to Walkerville 48-54 in over-time. Hunter Bentley had 16 points, 9 rebounds, and 4 steals, Nate Sanderson had 13 points, 4 rebounds, 2 steals, and 2 assists, Trevor Eisenlohr had 10 points, 2 steals, and 2 assists, Robby McLouth had 9 points and 8 rebounds, and Morgan Blattner had 9 points and 2 steals. The hockey team defeated Petoskey 3-2. Jonathan Adams had an assist. The JV and Varsity girl’s basketball teams travel to Mesick. Game time is 6:00 p.m.; the bus leaves at 4:30 p.m. The middle school girl’s basketball teams travel to Baldwin. Game time is 5:30 p.m.; the bus leaves at 3:45 p.m. Sports pictures will start at 2:00 p.m. with the elementary boys, then the middle school girls, and finishing up with the JV girls. *Today’s Practices:* Elem.
