Leading the Lakers were Abby Cross with 11 points, Julie Schmidt with 8 points, Kaitlynn Omar and Olivia Hejl each with 5 points, and Hayley May and Shaely Waller each with 2 points. The JV girl’s basketball team defeated Big Rapids 27-6. Bella Leffew and Taylor Sexton each had 7 points, Kalissa Swanson had 6 points, Sky Love had 4 points, and Kaitlyn Leiffers had 3 points. The 5th grade boy’s basketball team defeated KND 13-6 and Marion 13-7. The 4th grade boy’s basketball team lost to KND 2-6 and Marion 2-6. The hockey team defeated Grand Rapids Northview 8-0. The Varsity girl’s basketball team travels to Marion. Game time is 6:00 p.m.; the bus leaves at 3:45 p.m. The hockey team Travels to Grand Rapids to take on Reeths Puffer.
