Elementary March Reading Month celebration – Tomorrow is Crazy About Books Day. Show us your craziest hairdo. The elementary students have been challenged to fill up the shelves of our local food pantry. The class that brings in the most canned goods and non-perishable food items will win an ice cream party and pick out books for the library and their classroom. Please help us collect items for our community. All items need to be turned in no later than Wednesday, March 13 th. Play practice is from 5:30 – 8:00 p.m. *Laker Sports* The Varsity girl’s basketball team was defeated by Frankfort in the district championship last night by a score of 50-36. Leading the way for the Lakers were Abby Cross with 9 points, Hayley May with 8 points, Cosima Holler with 7 points, Shaely Waller with 6 points, and Alyssa Eisenlohr with 4 points. The Lady Lakers finished the season with a record of 15-3 and are the WMD League Champions. A very successful season! The hockey team defeated Byron Center 4-3 in over-time. The team advances to the semi-finals in Plymouth on Friday. Monday is the first day of spring practices. Soccer practices starts Monday 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. There will be a study hall starting at 3:10 until the start of practice. *Today’s Practices:* Elem.
