Elementary March Reading Month celebration – Tomorrow is Mystery Readers Day. Who will the mystery reader be? The 5th grade Quiz Bowl team travels to Onekama tomorrow. Competition begins at 9:30 a.m. The elementary students have been challenged to fill up the shelves of our local food pantry. The class that brings in the most canned goods and non-perishable food items will win an ice cream party and pick out books for the library and their classroom. Please help us collect items for our community. All items need to be turned in no later than Wednesday. Play practice is from 5:30 – 8:00 p.m. *Laker Sports* The hockey team lost to Saginaw Heritage 2-5. Jonathan Adams scored a goal. The 5th grade boy’s basketball team defeated MCE 33-7 and MCC 24-9. The 4th grade boy’s basketball team lost to MCE 7-15 and defeated MCC 12-6.
