Graduate Activities for next week: Awards Night is Monday at 7:30 p.m., Graduate’s Last Day is Tuesday along with Decision Day at the beginning of 4 th hour followed by the Junior/Senior Challenge; Baccalaureate is also Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at the Bear Lake United Methodist Church. Graduates breakfast and practice is Thursday beginning at 9:00 a.m. Graduation is next Friday at 7:30 p.m. *Laker Sports* The softball team lost to Grand Traverse Academy 0-5 and 7-8. Abby Cross was 3-3 with a double, 2 RBIs, and 2 runs, Alyssa Eisenlohr was 3-7 with a triple, a double, an RBI and a run, and Shaely Waller was 3-7 with a double and a run. The baseball team split with Grand Traverse Academy, losing the first game 3-9 but bouncing back and winning the second game 10-7. Andre Brown led the Lakers in hitting with 4 hits, Jake Griffis and Nate Sanderson each had 3 hits, and Colin Sanderson, Bryce Harless, Ethan Groll, and Fabian Aguilar had one hit each. Levi Ledford hit his second home run of the season and Colin Sanderson had 4 RBIs. The soccer team defeated Burt Lake NMC 6-0. Cosima Holler scored 3 goals. The middle school softball game has been canceled for today. The softball and baseball teams travel to Big Rapids Crossroads. Games begin at 4:30 p.m.; the bus leaves at 2:15 p.m. The high school track team travels to East Jordan tomorrow. Events begin at 10:00 a.m.; the bus leaves Onekama at 5:30 a.m. The middle school softball team hosts Onekama tomorrow. Game time is 2:00 p.m. The F3 Spring Run Club Zombie 5k is Sunday at 9:00 a.m. at the cross country course. MRA is looking for baseball (t-ball, machine pitch, and Little League) umpires for the month of June.
