Graduate Activities for the week: Graduate’s Last Day is today along with Decision Day at the beginning of 4th hour followed by the Junior/Senior Challenge; Baccalaureate is also today at 7:30 p.m. at the Bear Lake United Methodist Church (please wear your cap and gown). Breakfast and practice is Thursday beginning at 9:00 a.m. Graduation is Friday at 7:30 p.m. The Career Fair is tomorrow at the Traverse City Civic Center beginning at 11:00 a.m. *Laker Sports* The golf team placed 3rd yesterday at the Bear Lake Highland Invitational. Tai Babinec shot a 98, good enough for 8th place and received an individual medal. The soccer team defeated Northern Michigan Christian 4-0. Cosima Holler scored the first goal of the night. The softball team lost to Manistee 7-9 and 6-14. Hayley May was 4-7 with two doubles and 4 RBIs and Alyssa Eisenlohr was 2-4. The baseball team swept Baldwin yesterday 7-6 and 8-5. Colin Sanderson led the way with 6 hits followed by Andre’ Brown with 4, and Levi Ledford and Jake Griffis with 3 each. Levi had 5 RBIs while Colin and Jake each scored 5 runs. Colin Sanderson led the pitching efforts with 9 strikeouts. The soccer game for today has been canceled. The high school track team travels to Kingsley. Events start at 3:00 p.m.; the bus leaves at 1:15 p.m. Athletes will be excused from class at 1:05 p.m. MRA is looking for baseball (t-ball, machine pitch, and Little League) umpires for the month of June.
