The 8th grade class is traveling to Inland Seas tomorrow. They will be gone from 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. The 3rd – 5th grade students will be traveling to Traverse City tomorrow to watch a Pit Spitters baseball game. They will be leaving at 9:15 a.m. The Manistee Commitment Scholar field trip is tomorrow from 9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at the Armory Youth Project. The MS/HS Reward Day is Friday. Mrs. Kennedy will be offering a painting class. Cost is $5.00/person. First 30 people to sign up and pay will be able to participate. Sign up with Mrs. Mallison. Reward Day hike is to the Old Indian Trail just north of Frankfort. Those students interested will be departing at 7:30 a.m.; sign up with Mr. Prokes. *Laker Sports* The baseball team travels to MCE. Game time is 4:30 p.m.; the bus leaves at 2:30 p.m. Athletes will be excused from class at 2:20 p.m. Attention 5th – 11th grade students – sign up for fall sports in the high school office. Pop Warner football registration is tomorrow from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. in Onekama for any boys and girls between the ages of 8 (by August 1st) through 12. Cost is $65.00 per child. MRA is looking for baseball (t-ball, machine pitch, and Little League) umpires for the month of June.
