The 1st grade picnic is today beginning at 11:00 a.m. The middle school dance is today from 6:30 – 9:30 p.m. The 2nd grade class is traveling to the Sandcastle Museum on Monday. They will be gone from 8:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. The Children’s Theater Workshop will be held from August 12th – 16th, 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at the Manistee High School Auditorium for students in grades 3rd – 9th (2019-20 school year). Cost is $45 for one child, extra additional family members are $25. Registration forms are available in the high school office. *Laker Sports* The golf team finished in 10th out of 20 teams yesterday, shooting a team season best 433. Jonah Hengy scored a career best 109 for 18 holes. Kyle Fink had a 101, which is his season best score. Tai Babinec scored 111 and Jonathan Adams 112. The golf team would also like to wish John Slivka from MCC good luck at State. He took first overall at regionals and will represent the WMD League at the State Finals. The softball team hosts Brethren tomorrow for District action. Game time is 10:00 a.m. Attention 5th – 11th grade students – sign up for fall sports in the high school office. MRA is looking for baseball (t-ball, machine pitch, and Little League) umpires for the month of June.
