Students in grades 8-12 will be eligible to make and sell items in our school’s Christmas pop up shop, The Exchange, during the holiday season. To avoid duplicate items, please clear your idea with Mrs. Harthun prior to making them. Don’t forget to turn in your vehicle registration form to the high school office. *Laker Sports* The Varsity football team lost to MCC 20-52. Andre Brown scored two touchdowns and Dalton Myers one. Dalton Myers led the rushing attack with 85 yards followed by Andre Brown with 71, Bryce Harless with 53, and Colin Sanderson with 32. Andre Brown also had 49 receiving yards. On defense, the Lakers were led by Clark May with 7 ½ tackles and Dalton Myers with 6. The boy’s cross country team finished in 2nd place at the Ludington Invitational on Saturday. Medalists were Hunter Bentley, Bren Lopez, Robby McLouth, Trevor Eisenlohr, and Marcus Langeland. Medalists for the girls were Alex Rineer, Bella Leffew, and Victoria Hall. The middle school boy’s cross country team raced on Saturday at the Ludington Invitational. Kaden Forward led the boy’s team to a second place finish. Phillip Putney, Kaden Worch, and Caleb Forward helped the Lakers in a great team effort. The girl’s team finished in 3rd, led by Jocelyn Teter with an excellent time, with Natalie Brown, Sidney Bentley, and Piper Putney adding to the team score. The middle school volleyball team travels to Walkerville. Game time is 5:30 p.m.; the bus leaves at 4:00 p.m. Purchase your Student Athletic Pass for the reduced price of $20.
