Volunteer opportunities are now available for students in grades 7-12! This month’s volunteer opportunities are serving food at the community dinner, helping clean up the village, and the scrap tire event. Volunteering is not only fun, but it will build your resume for when you apply for college, scholarships, NHS application, or even jobs – it’s a win-win! Shaely Waller had 5 digs, Hailey Omar had 3 digs, Zoey Sutton had 2 kills and 3 assists, and Emma Reynolds had 2 kills and 2 digs. The JV volleyball team also lost to Pentwater 10-25 and 13-25. Taylor Merrill had 4 aces. The football team hosts Marion. Game time is 5:00 p.m. The JV volleyball home tournament is tomorrow. Games begin at 9:00 a.m. The middle and high school cross country teams travel to Evart tomorrow. Running begins at 10:00 a.m.; the bus leaves at 7:30 a.m. The middle school volleyball team travels to Brethren tomorrow. Game time is 9:00 a.m.; the bus leaves at 8:00 a.m. The Bear Lake Athletic Boosters are taking orders for the Pink Out Football Game T-shirts. Order forms are available in the high school office. All orders are DUE back to the office by Monday. Athletic eligibility begins Monday. A reminder to 6th – 12th grade students – you must have an overall GPA of 2.0 and no failing overall grades.
