College Visits for next week: Monday – University of Michigan; Tuesday – Michigan Tech; Wednesday – College Planning (all juniors and seniors must attend this session). All visits will be held in the library at 12:00 p.m. West Shore College night is Monday from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. Over thirty college and university representatives will be attending this event. The 7th grade students will be leaving for Grace Adventures on Monday and will return after school on Wednesday. *Laker Sports* The Varsity volleyball team lost to Baldwin 25-21, 13-25, 20-25, and 22-25. Shaely Waller had 9 kills and 3 aces, Hailey Omar had 3 kills, 6 aces, and 4 digs, Zoey Sutton had 3 kills, 4 aces, and 5 assists, and Marissa Frisbie had 5 digs. The JV volleyball team defeated Baldwin 25-8 and 25-21. Megan Gydesen had 5 aces and served for 16 of the team’s 50 points, and Keera Groenwald, Destiny Edson, and Taylor Merrill each had 2 aces. The high school cross country teams travel to Portage today, the bus will be leaving at 1:00 p.m. Running begins at 8:00 a.m. tomorrow. The Varsity football team takes on Brethren at 7:00 p.m. This is also their Pink Out game, wear as much pink for this worthy cause. The Varsity volleyball team competes at the Brethren Invitational tomorrow.
