Tomorrow is Red and White Day. The Powder Puff and Power Tough games will take place tomorrow afternoon. The high school dance is Saturday from 8:30 – 11:30 p.m. Cost is $5/person. Ninth grade YAC application deadline is tomorrow. See Ms. Jonson to purchase your 2019 yearbook; cost is $40. Products for the Exchange need to be finished by November 8th so shop displays can be set up. A work schedule will be coming out the beginning of November as well. See Mrs. Harthun if you have questions. *Laker Sports* The boy’s middle school cross country team finished in 2nd place at the Mesick Invitational yesterday. Kaden Forward was the first runner to cross the finish line in a personal record time of 11:16 for the two-mile race. The girl’s team finished 5th, led by medalist Jocelyn Teter’s personal record time of 15:08. Eight of the ten athletes who ran the race finished with personal records in their final meet of the season. The 8th grade volleyball team defeated Onekama 25-16, 19-25, and 17-15. Kylie Blattner had 15 points, Juliet Austin had 11 points, and Kara Smith had 8 points. The 6th grade volleyball team lost to Onekama 15-25, 29-27, and 11-15. Lily Artman had 10 points, Maggie Evans had 9 points, and Lanessa Ware had 8 points. The middle school football team defeated Baldwin 14-8. The JV volleyball team hosts TC Homeschool while the Varsity takes on Buckley.
