The Elementary Halloween Carnival is Saturday from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. There will be games and prizes, tickets are $0.50 each or 3/$1.00. See Ms. Jonson to purchase your 2019 yearbook; cost is $40. Products for the Exchange need to be finished by November 8th so shop displays can be set up. A work schedule will be coming out the beginning of November as well. See Mrs. Harthun if you have questions. *Laker Sports* The Varsity volleyball team lost to Grand Traverse Academy. Shaely Waller had 6 digs, and Hailey Omar, Emma Reynolds, and Lili Brown each had 3 digs. The JV volleyball team also lost to Grand Traverse Academy 13-25, 25-19, and 11-15. Megan Gydesen had 4 kills and 3 aces, Taylor Merrill had 2 kills and 3 aces, and Riley Kilbourn had 3 aces. The JV and Varsity volleyball teams travel to Shelby. Game time is 5:30 p.m.; the bus leaves at 3:00 p.m. There is a basketball meeting for all 9th- 12th grade boys interested in playing basketball at 11:50 a.m. in the high school gym. Middle school boy’s basketball players – if you do not have your physical done, you may not participate in practice or stay to watch practice. You must go home after school.
