Crystal Mountain will be hosting an informational meeting tomorrow at 5:00 p.m. about the skiing program offered on Thursday nights. The meeting will take place in Room 101, in the high school wing. The rep from Saginaw Valley State will be visiting on Thursday at 11:40 a.m. The Elementary Halloween Parade is Thursday at 1:45 p.m. Classroom parties will begin when students return to class. Picture Retake Day is Friday. Forms are available in the high school office. Products for the Exchange need to be finished by November 8th so shop displays can be set up. A work schedule will be coming out the beginning of November as well. See Mrs. Harthun if you have questions. *Laker Sports* The Varsity football team lost to Vestaburg on Friday night 22-70. Bryce Harless passed for 176 yards with touchdown passes to Clark May and Gabe Aguilar. Clark had 5 receptions for 120 yards and Gabe for 61 yards. Harless also led the rushing attack with 75 yards. Fabian Aguilar ran in two extra-point conversions. Leading tacklers for the Lakers were Jared Sexton with 11, Fabian Aguilar with 8, and Quentin Ruiz with 4. The weight room will be available for football players after school until 4:00 p.m. Congratulations to all of the cross country runners on a great team performance at the regional meet. The boy’s team finished in 5th place. Alexia Rineer, Bella Leffew, Vitoria Hall, Bren Lopez, Robby McLouth, and Tai Babinec all had their personal best times. Hunter Bentley finished in 12 th place and Alexia Rineer placed 11th; both earned spots in the State Championship Meet this Saturday at the Michigan International Speedway.
