The Elementary Christmas Concert is today at 7:00 p.m. The freshmen class will be selling cookies before and after the concert. Friday is the last day of school before Christmas Vacation. School will resume on Monday, January 6th. *Laker Sports* The Varsity girl’s basketball team lost Friday night to Mesick by a score of 21-34. Leading the Lakers were: Bella Leffew with 11 points and 9 rebounds, Kalissa Swanson with 6 points, and Taylor Sexton with 9 rebounds. The JV girl’s basketball team also lost to Mesick 17-21. Kylie Blattner had 9 points and Amara Lopez had 3 points. The hockey team lost to Jenison on Friday and won on Saturday in overtime. There is no middle school girl’s basketball practice today. The middle school boy’s basketball team will have a pizza party on Thursday from 3:00 – 4:30 p.m. Need some spending money – especially around Christmas time? Ms. Leinaar is looking for ticket takers for high school and middle school games and clock operators for middle school games.
