The Freshmen Class will be taking orders for Valentine’s carnations, roses, and candy. Orders can be placed this week at lunchtime starting tomorrow or with Mrs. Harthun. Hallway decorating is from 2:50 – 7:00 p.m. There is a time change for tomorrow’s decorating, 2:50 – 5:00 p.m. Spirit Week kicks off next Monday with Staff Twin Day. Homecoming Dance passes are available in the high school office for students who are bringing a guest from a different school. Passes are due on Thursday, February 13th. February lunch menus are available in the high school office. Brethren High School is conducting a Financial Aid Night on Thursday, February 6th from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. *Laker Sports* The Varsity boy’s basketball team lost to MCE. Jake Griffis had 6 points and 4 rebounds, Hunter Bentley had 5 points and 6 rebounds, Tai Babinec had 4 points, 2 rebounds, and 2 blocks, Nate Sanderson had 4 points, Clark May had 3 points and 3 rebounds, Jackson Cook had 3 points, and Trevor Eisenlohr had 2 points and 3 rebounds. The hockey team lost to Cheboygan 2-10. Bryce Harless had both goals. The JV and Varsity boy’s basketball game scheduled tonight against Pentwater has been postponed due to illness. The middle school girl’s basketball team hosts Brethren.
