The Fine Arts class will be traveling to the Ramsdell Theatre tomorrow. They will be gone from 8:40 – 11:00 a.m. The Freshmen Class will be taking orders for Valentine’s carnations, roses, and candy. Orders can be placed this week at lunchtime or with Mrs. Harthun. The Cooperative Drama Program will be holding auditions for Frozen, Jr. on Monday, February 10th and Tuesday, February 11th at 6:00 p.m. in the Onekama School band room. Students only need to attend one audition date. The show will be the last weekend in April. The Mathcounts Team competes at West Shore Community College. Students will be leaving at 11:00 a.m. Hallway decorating is from 2:50 – 8:00 p.m. Spirit Week kicks off Monday. Homecoming Dance passes are available in the high school office for students who are bringing a guest from a different school. Passes are due on Thursday, February 13th. Brethren High School is conducting a Financial Aid Night on tomorrow from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. *Laker Sports* The Varsity girl’s basketball team lost to Mesick last night by a score of 37-23. Leading the Lakers was Bella Leffew with 11 points, and Mariah McLouth and Marissa Frisbie each had 4 points. The JV girl’s basketball team defeated Mesick 23-16. Kylie Blattner had 10 points, Taylor Merrill had 5 points, Kara Smith had 4 points, and Victoria Hall and Juliet Austin each had 2 points. The middle school girl’s basketball team hosts Onekama. Game time is 5:30 p.m. There is a softball meeting today for any girl in grades 8th – 12th who is interested in playing this season.
