Leading the Lakers was Bella Leffew with 8 points and Taylor Sexton with 3 points. The JV girl’s basketball defeated Big Rapids Crossroads 33-25. Kylie Blattner had 9 points, Kara Smith had 6 points, and Alex Rineer, Victoria Hall, and Conzuelo Magana Garcia each had 4 points. There is no JV/Varsity girl’s basketball practice today. The JV and Varsity boy’s basketball teams host Brethren. Game time is 6:00 p.m. Parents will be honored between games. The hockey team travels to Tawas. Game time is 6:00 p.m. They are home tomorrow against Northview with a 3:00 p.m. start time. The middle school girl’s basketball team travels to Marion tomorrow. Game time is 11:00 a.m.; the bus leaves at 8:30 a.m. The elementary boy’s basketball teams travel to Mesick tomorrow. Games begin at 9:00 a.m. There will be a baseball meeting today at 11:45 a.m. in Mr. Proke’s room for all 6th – 12th grade boys interested in playing baseball this spring.
