March lunch menus are available in the high school office. The Robotics team made it to the championship rounds this weekend in Traverse City and was able to make it to the semi-finals before losing in the best of three matches. The team was also selected by the tournament judges for the “Creativity Award” which celebrates creativity in design, use of component, or strategy of play. During the quarterfinal championship rounds our robot was able to turn the field event’s control panel, which according to the event coordinators, was only the 10th time in the WORLD a team has been able to do that so far in the First Inspires 2020 season! Tai Babinec had 15 points, 3 rebounds, 6 steals, and 4 assists, Jake Griffis had 12 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 steals, Hunter Bentley had 6 points and 8 rebounds, Clark May had 5 points and 3 rebounds, and Jackson Cook had 2 points, 2 rebounds, and 2 steals. The 5th/6th grade elementary boy’s basketball team defeated MCE 22-5 and Big Rapids Crossroads 27-4 on Saturday while the 4th/5th grade team lost to MCE 16-29. *Today’s Practices:* Elem.
