It’s School Breakfast Week! The elementary classroom that has the highest breakfast participation at the end of the week will win a smoothie party. The middle/high school classroom that has the highest participation will win a shamrock shake party. Lakers make sure you eat school breakfast every day to better your chances. Elementary March is Reading Month – Tomorrow is Pop In For A Good Book. Mrs. Harless will be stopping by the elementary classrooms with one of her favorite books. The Jostens rep will be here today at 12:30 p.m. to deliver the senior announcements. DID YOU KNOW… the average American throws away 4.4 pounds of trash daily? Washington appeared on the dollar bill in 1869. *Laker Sports* The Varsity girls basketball team lost last night to Mesick by a score of 24-45. Leading the Lakers were Bella Leffew with 11 points, Kalissa Swanson with 6 points, Taylor Merrill with 3 points, and Conzuelo Magana Garcia with 2 points. The hockey team hosts Kentwood. Game time is 3:30 p.m. The JV boys basketball team finish their season hosting Marion. Game time is 6:00 p.m. Winter sports pictures are tomorrow beginning at 2:00 p.m. with elementary boys basketball. It’s time to sign up for Spring Sports in the high school office!
