June lunch menus are available in the high school office. First, second, and 6th hour exams are tomorrow. Exam schedules are in the high school office. School will be dismissed at 12:50 p.m. on tomorrow, Wednesday, and Thursday. Individual Classroom Award Presentations will take place on Thursday. A flea can accelerate faster than the space shuttle? *Laker Sports* The baseball team beat Marion 2-1 in the first game of District action Friday but lost the Championship game to Mesick 0-7. Jackson Cook pitched 6 and 2/3 innings against Marion allowing only 2 hits while striking out 8. Nate Sanderson retired the last out for the save. Nate also had 3 hits to lead the Lakers. Tate Aultman and Quentin Ruiz knocked in the tying and winning runs. In the Championship game Mesick scored 6 runs in one inning and that was all they needed. Jake Griffis pitched three innings against Mesick and Nate finished the last 3. Other leading hitters were Jackson Cook and Jake Griffis with 2. Bryce Harless, Ethaniel Ruiz, and Jared Cook had one each. Any high school basketball players that would like to be a counselor for Toon’s Camp of Champs please let Mr. Harthun know by today. You will be paid for the days that you work. Money will be put into your class account towards your senior trip.
