The longest hiccupping attack lasted 68 years. *Laker Sports* Congratulations to the high school cross country team on a job well done yesterday at the WMD League Championship Meet. Everyone ran with a competitive spirit and fought hard throughout the race. Cecilia Girlanda and Kaden Forward earned First Team All-Conference for their performance. The middle school cross country team won the WMD Conference championship race yesterday finishing first with a score of 26. The Lakers also won the conference regular season trophy by winning all of the conference jamborees. Earning All Conference honors for the Lakers were Nolan Koscinski, Caleb Forward, Melodie Hulinek, Natalie Brown, and Cassidy Brown. The JV and Varsity volleyball teams host Onekama. Game time is 5:30 p.m. Parents of the high school cross country and volleyball teams will be honored between matches. Elementary girl’s basketball practice begins on Monday.
